Belfast Artisan Distillery granted license to welcome visitors for Distillery Tours

Belfast Artisan Distillery were granted their Producers License at Laganside Court on Wednesday 5^th July meaning they can now welcome visitors for tours of and product sales at their Distillery in Newtownabbey.

Belfast Artisan Distillery started in 2018, situated in Mallusk Enterprise Park in Newtownabbey creates premium, small batch, craft spirits. 

Belfast Artisan Distillery Gin is a London Dry Gin with a ‘Belfast Twist’. 

We use three locally inspired botanicals when distilling our Gin to give it that ‘Belfast Twist’ – Rowanberries (which you will find growing across Northern Ireland) give our Gin a sweet heat, Pink Heather ( which you will find growing on the local Cave hill) gives our Gin a light floral top note and Flaxseed (Our nod to the Linen industry if Belfast) gives our Gin its smoothness.

Belfast Artisan Distillery Gin holds 4 awards  – Best Irish Newcomer, 2 Silver Gin Master Awards and World Gin Awards Best Northern Irish London Dry.

Belfast Artisan Distillery also produces two Gin Liqueurs, Raspberry & Elderflower and Pineapple & Blood Orange, and we produce an Irish Vodka.

“Our Local Producers License now allows us to welcome visitors to our Distillery to see where and how our spirits are made and to sample our products.  We look forward to sharing our story of our locally produced small batch Spirits and visitors can buy a bottle to take home with them now.”

Belfast Artisan Distillery currently offer a Gin School visitor experience in Belfast City Centre as part of NI Spirits Trail and the new Distillery tours and Gin tasting that will now be available at the Distillery in Mallusk will enhance their offering to locals as well as tourists interested in our locally produced Northern Irish Spirits.
